Here are the Black Desert Global Lab path notes for November 14th, 2018.

In this update, new changes were added including Main Quests Remastered, additional Mysterious Fishes, and many more.

[Update]

● The main quest line was remastered starting from the moment your newly created character enters the world to Calpheon.

- The new main quest line follows the story of the Secret Guards that are trying to stop the world from falling into chaos. You will have to face Jordine, a man driven by ambition to take over Calpheon, the Shadow Knights, who pulled Jordine down to the depths, and a mysterious organization, operating in the shadows of the Elion Church.

- The figures and organizations that were not explained in the previous story will come to light. A new person with a huge scheme will appear and lead the story.

- The location where the character first appears after being created was changed to Western Guard Camp.

- New cutscenes were added. One is played right after character creation and another at the end of the Calpheon main quest line.

- There is a crossroad at the end of Serendia where you need to select 1 of 3 different paths. Once you select your path, you cannot get the quests in the other paths.

- Each of the 3 paths has their own unique story. Once you complete your path in Calpheon, everyone will converge onto a single quest line.

- All the main quests can be completed once per character. You can create new characters you to do the other paths as well.

- The quest '[Crossroad] The Lamenting Head of the League of Merchants' goes down the path where you chase down Jordine and uncover the ominous plans of the Shadow Knights and Belmorn that threaten our world. 

- The quest '[Crossroad] Silence, We're Done Here!' goes down the path of helping citizens in each of the regions.

- The quest '[Crossroad] Each of Their Reasons' goes down the path of witnessing the power struggle between the noble families from the viewpoint of Xian Merchant Guild headed by Isobelle Encarotia. 

● The chance of characters with alchemy level Guru 1 or higher to get Kzarka, The Lord of Corruption Summon Scroll while performing alchemy was added.

- Kzarka summoned with this scroll can be attacked by its summoner and everyone else. He will also drop loot. 

● Mysterious fishes followed the ocean currents and arrived in our waters.

These mysterious fishes are so rare that you could say, "the fish chooses the fisher." It's been also said that it requires an immense amount of skill and experience to catch them.

Mysterious fishes never travel in schools, but are known to have mysterious magical powers. It is known that they can cause the heavens and the earth to shake and bring about huge changes when the stars align and many of these fishes come together in one place. It is yet to be confirmed but according to an ancient oral tradition passed down for generation, an entire nation disappeared when these mysterious fishes. 

- Combining a large number of these extremely rare mysterious fishes can cause major changes in the ocean.

- These mysterious fishes can only be caught by characters with fishing level Guru 1 or higher.

 ● A separate lock function was created for Black Spirit’s Rage skills.

 - Clicking on the areas listed below to lock Black Spirit’s Rage skills.

 1) The button ‘Toggle Black Spirit's Rage’ at the bottom of the skill window (K).

 2) Black Spirit’s Rage gauge in the standard UI (it’s under the HP bar found in the top right corner of your screen).

 3) The Black Spirit’s Rage icon of the Custom HP Bar.

 - If you lock the skill in the skill list using the skill lock button, the skill will activate but it will not use Black Spirit’s Rage. 

- The hotkey ‘Alt + B’ will continue to function to lock Black Spirit’s Rage skills. The hotkey ‘Alt + B’ will lock and unlock all Black Spirit’s Rage skill regardless of their individual settings. Their individual settings are maintained.

- Regardless of your Toggle Black Spirit's Rage setting, you can still use Rage Absorption (Z) and Transfer (X) the same as before..
